Seger was brought out at 9 years old for the breeders circuit and won Back to Back Best of Breeds to complete his Grand Championship at the age of 9 years old…….
Most of Seger’s Grand Championship points were earned at specialties and supported entries…….

June started out so exciting….
Yankee GR Club Specialty results….
Carly won Best of Breed at the Yankee GR Club Specialty, Secret won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, Seger won Best of Opposite Sex (to his daughter Carly) and Best Veteran……..
Secret (Seger daughter) won a 5 point major at Yankee GR Specialty….
Halen (Seger son) won 6-9 month puppy dog class at Yankee GR Specialty……
This is Carly’s second Best In Show Specialty this year 🙂
Halen “Yukon’s Little Dreamer” started being shown this month and he won 1st place at the Greater Pittsburg GR Specialty and then won BOW for a 4 point major the same day at the Cuyahoga Valley GR Club Specialty- all from the 6-9 month puppy class……the same weekend Halen won another 3 point major……
Carly’s other wins in June included BOB and Group 2 Framingham District KC, BOB Greenwich KC and BOS Cuyahoga Valley GR Specialty.

On May 1st…….. Carly earned the title SHOW DOG HALL OF FAME……Carly earned all her points for this title in 3 months…..
Carly won BOB and Group 2 at Beckley West Virginia KC, BOB at Bucks County KC, BOB and Group 2 at St. Hubert KC, BOB and Group 3 at Mattaponi KC, BOB and Group 3 at KC of Northern NJ, BOB at Monmouth County KC and BOB at Plainfield KC.
Carly also won BOS at the Lenape GR Club Specialty….

Carly earned the title BISS by winning Best In Show Specialty at the Potomac GR Specialty.
Secret won BOW at the Rhode Island show for 1 more point.

Secret was awarded with BOW and BOS at Conn River Valley Sporting Dog GR Specialty for a 4 point major from the puppy class.

Carly started her specials career …. Carly was awarded BOB and Group 2 at Boardwalk KC, BOB and Group 2 at Elm City KC and BOB and Group 3 at First Company Governor’s Footguard Athletic Assoc.
Carly recieved a Judges Award of Merit at the LI Specialty and won Best Opposite Sex at Westminster KC.
Reba “Am. Can. CH Thornelea Yukon’s Reba” won BOS at the Long Island GR Specialty at 14 years old at the Friday show and Best Veteran at the Saturday show.

First weekend being shown by Pam and Mark in the 9-12 PUPPY CLASS….The Bay Colony Cluster of shows….Thursday Pearl wins her class…..Friday Pearl wins WB, BOW and BOB for a 3 Point Major…..Saturday Pearl wins WB 2 points, and Best Puppy and a Puppy Sporting Group 2…..Sunday Pearl wins WB, BOW, BOB and Best Puppy for her second 3 Point Major….plus another Puppy Sporting Group 2…..and made it down to the final 6 in the Adult Sporting Group….all at 11 months old….

Carly took February 2009 by Storm….Carly won BOW at the Big Apple Sporting Society, judge Carol Brown, the next day she won BOW and Best Puppy at the Long Island Golden Retriever Specialty Show, judge Kitty Cathy (Major Win), and the next day she won Best Puppy at the Long Island Golden Retriever Specialty Show, judge Everett Dean……the very next weekend Carly won WB for another 2 Points, First Company Governer’s Foot Guard Assoc., judge Judy Harrington…..the very next weekend Carly won 2 more Majors at the Chicago shows…..WB, Blackhawk KC, 4 Points, judge Judy Harrington, and WB, International KC of Chicago, 5 Points, judge Richard Beauchamp,…..Carly finished her Championship at 11 months old- First to Last Point in 24 Days……with 3 Specialty Wins and 3 Best Puppy in Specialty Shows……Carly did indeed follow in her Daddy’s Footsteps………
